REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION

  1. The papers will be included in the congress programme according to their conformity with the abstract, style guidelines and number of the sessions.
  2. The sessions consisting of 4 or 5 presentations will be performed within 90 minutes. A computer and a projection tool will be available.
  3. The sessions will include English, English&Turkish and Turkish presentations, and there will be simultaneous translation for the one including English&Turkish presentations.
  4. The proceedings will include presented papers, selected poster papers and the abstracts of the remaining poster papers.
  5. Some costs of the foreign academics with papers will be paid by executive committee. These costs are: full board accomodation for 3 nights (2-4 Nov), internal transportation (İstanbul-İzmit-İstanbul), proceedings, trip.
  6. The guests coming on 2 November 2006 to İstanbul will stay at Greenpark Taksim Hotel for 1 night. They will be transferred to Izmit at 8:00 a.m. (Turkish time). Please contact to Mr. Tuncay Guloglu, e-mail:tguloglu@hotmail.com, gsm: +90.532.7748687
  7. After the opening ceremony which will be held in the Great Hall of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality on 3 November, Friday, the participants will be taken to Greenpark Kartepe Resorts.
  8. The participants will accommodate in Greenpark Kartepe Resorts between 3 and 4 November. Check-out is: 12 a.m. on 5 Nov. Following the city-tour just after this, the participants will return to İstanbul.

Departure times:
From the Airport: At 05:00 and 06:00a.m., and in every half-hour between 06:00a.m. - 23:00p.m. The last shuttle time is 23:00 p.m.
From Taksim: At 05:00 and 06:00a.m., and in every half-hour between 06:00-23:00 o’clock.
Route: Atatürk Airport, Bakırköy Sea Bus Pier, Coast Road, Aksaray, Tepebaşı, Taksim.
Passenger Dropping Spots: Respectively the dropping spots are Bakırköy Sea Bus Pier, Aksaray and Tepebaşı, on the way of Taksim, from the Airport.
Arrival time: Approximately 40 minutes.

Note: Between 24.00 and 06.00 a.m., ticket fees are increased as 25%.
